From that same passion came our collection of bathrobes, ponchos, kimonos, beach dresses, and summer blankets. With our original designs, commitment to the highest quality, and personal service, ZusenZomer has grown into a trusted wellness and beach lifestyle brand. Our woven patterns often feature five or six different colours, while standard hammam towels are typically woven with just two or three. This intricate weaving technique requires exceptional craftsmanship and the expertise of highly skilled master weavers.

ZusenZomer was founded by Dutch sisters Petra and Martine Siebelink. What began as a passion for unique hammam towels from Turkey has grown into a beloved wellness and beach lifestyle brand with customers across the Netherlands and far beyond.
Around 90% of our products are made in Turkey, a country with a rich textile tradition and the birthplace of the traditional hammam towel. A small part of our collection, including our foutas, is made in Tunisia. We work closely with small family-run workshops on a fair trade basis, where fair prices, fair wages, and responsible employment are a priority. Our production partners take great pride in their craftsmanship and commitment to quality.
There is no mass production or fast fashion. Instead, we produce in small batches with genuine care for both people and the environment. To reduce our environmental impact, our products are transported to the Netherlands by truck. From our warehouse, we carefully ship each order to customers around the world.
Our collection is defined by unique designs, high-quality cotton and distinctive woven fabrics. Many of our hammam towels are woven using five to six colours, creating truly unique patterns that you will not easily find elsewhere. This is also reflected in our special collection of bathrobes, Kimono Dresses and ponchos, which are carefully handcrafted from our hammam towels.
Yes. Together with our suppliers, we develop exclusive designs for ZusenZomer. From colour combinations and patterns to the finishing details, many products are specially designed for our collection. We find much of our inspiration during sourcing trips and visits to trade fairs.
What started with hammam towels has grown into an extensive collection of bathrobes, ponchos, kimonos, beach dresses, summer blankets, and other wellness and beach essentials.
A large part of our collection is made from premium-quality, OEKO-TEX® certified cotton. This cotton is known for its breathable, absorbent, and durable properties, making our products perfect for use at home, in the sauna, on holiday, or at the beach.
