Photoshoot in Turkey – Sun, Sea & ZusenZomer

Arrival in the coastal town of Fethiye

On Sunday evening, we arrived in sunny Fethiye. The sea sparkled, the mountains framed us like a painting, and we immediately felt that familiar Turkish sense of warmth, calm, and inspiration. This first week was all about our new ZusenZomer collection — with an extra highlight: the new SooBluu yoga towels we brought along.

A week full of shooting days

Our days started early, with the most beautiful morning light and a suitcase filled with new models: bathrobes, ponchos, kimono dresses, and hammam towels. We photographed in different locations:

  • 🌴 by the pool
  • ☕ at the bar
  • 🧖♀️ in the hammam
  • in the hotel room
  • 🌊 and of course on the beach

We tried to photograph as many new designs as possible, but also refreshed several of our trusted favourites. Everywhere we went, we also made short videos — for social media, behind-the-scenes clips, and stories to share later. The sun, the water, and the soft tones created exactly the natural atmosphere we love.

Sisters in front of the camera

This week, we were our own models — as sisters and also as the ZusenZomer target group. That makes it extra personal: we show how our bathrobes, kimonos, and hammam towels look on real women, in real situations. Because that’s exactly what ZusenZomer stands for — not distant fashion imagery, but a webshop that feels authentic and relatable. Together with our photographer, we created images that feel warm, honest, and pure.

New images, new feeling

Every day ended with reviewing the photos — and that remains a magical moment. The colours, the light, the fabrics… everything came together just as we envisioned. The new ZusenZomer items truly capture the feeling of summer: airy, natural, and honest.

Looking ahead to new inspiration

After a week full of photography, filming, and sunshine, we said goodbye to Fethiye. With a camera full of beautiful images, a head full of ideas, and a backpack full of sunscreen 😉 Energised, we continued our journey to Denizli and then Dalyan — for the second part of our trip: inspiration, suppliers, and a very special encounter.
